Climate Protection and Law
Climate protection is as global as it is urgent, is of great concern to politicians and the media, and is the subject of highly controversial debate. Germany and Japan face similarly large social and political challenges in the area of climate protection. Not only economic, social and technical problems have to be overcome, but also legal ones. The implementation of climate protection must be carried out in accordance with the rule of law and touches almost all areas of law.
The symposium will provide the framework for a comparative legal exchange with the participation of Dr. Angelika Schlunck, State Secretary in the Federal Ministry of Justice, and other outstanding speakers, with the aim of finding sustainable solutions together.
Conference languages are German and Japanese with simultaneous interpretation.
