This heart-warming drama set in the Edo period tells the story of the young woman, Haru, who is married into the Kaga Province for her outstanding cooking talent. For generations, the Funaki family has enjoyed a reputation as an exquisite “Samurai Kitchen”, but recently they begin to fear for their reputation as the successor Yasunobu prefers to swing his sword rather than the kitchen knife. Forced to marry the already divorced Haru, he now has to endure her culinary lessons in order to uphold the family’s honor.
