At our informal Networking Salon, we are delighted to welcome the Japanese participants of this year’s JEX Program in Germany to their final program site in Berlin as well as the German participants of this year’s JEX Program in Japan, JEX Alumni and other representatives from the area of scientific research and industrial application. The topic of this year’s JEX Program is “Intelligent Robotics for Society 5.0 / Industry 4.0”. This reception is also intended to offer an opportunity to foster the JEX Alumni network and engage in fruitful exchange to deepen the academic and economic ties between Germany and Japan.

During the JEX Workshop on 14 December, the Japanese JEX participants will be given the opportunity to introduce themselves and their work and to reflect on their experiences with the JEX Program in brief presentations. This will be followed by a group discussion on the similarities and differences between the German and Japanese research environment in general and in the field of robotics and AI research in particular.

Both events will take place at the JDZB and will be held in English.
