There is growing interest in enhancing the connectivity between Europe and Asia. The EU released the EU Strategy on connecting Europe and Asia, while Japan has proposed, in addition to the Free and Open Indo-Pacific, the Caucasus Initiative.
In an increasingly uncertain international context, there would seem to be the possibility for greater Japanese-European cooperation in Eurasia. Professor HIROSE will speak on Japanese perspectives on the possibility for Japanese-European cooperation in Eurasia.

HIROSE Yōko, PhD, is Professor at the Faculty of Policy Management of Keiō University and is a widely-recognized expert for Central Asia, the Caucasus, and Russia.
The event will be moderated by Mr. Bernt BERGER, Senior Fellow and responsible for the Asia Program of DGAP. Language will be English.
