Track 1.5 Japanese-German Security Dialogue
Public Symposium: Japanese-German Cooperation Toward Maintaining and Strengthening the Rules-Based International Order
Since 2014, the JDZB conducts annual Japanese-German Security Dialogues in cooperation with the foreign ministries and further partners. An invitation-only workshop and a public symposium will be held on November 1, 2024, in Tokyo.
The public symposium will feature a panel discussion where policy practitioners and experts from both Japan and Germany will speak about security issues in both countries, providing a platform for discussion and for deepening mutual understanding.
With this in mind, we would welcome your attendance at this event. If you would like to participate, please fill in the online registration form (link below) by 12:00 p.m., October 31. Please note that because seating is limited, we may not be able to accommodate all applicants if the demand is greater than the available seats. In this case, application will be closed before the deadline.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan, the Japan Institute of International Affairs, the German Federal Foreign Office, Konrad-Adenauer Stiftung (KAS) and the Japanese-German Center Berlin (JDZB) will co-host the Track 1.5 Japan-Germany Security Dialogue public symposium and the invitation-only workshop.
