Our first Open Monday this year was wonderful! 🌃.  
The free Ikebana workshop and the live interview with the Berlin ceramic artist Mariko Chiba were able to inspire many guests with a new perspective on Japanese art. The short film screening by Tomislav Vujcic, during which several short films had their premiere at JDZB, was very well received by the audience. The filmmaker came to Berlin from Düsseldorf especially for this event. The JDZB suddenly transformed into a jazz bar with an improvised performance by jazz saxophonist SOON KIM🎷. The Networking Lounge featured freshly made onigiri (Japanese rice balls) by Tokyo Gohan and Umesaka's excellent homemade sweets 🍙🍪
