Japan-Europe-U.S. Relations in Turbulent Times
On May 18, 2026, an international policy conference on “Japan-Europe-U.S. Relations in Turbulent Times” will take place at the JDZB, featuring leading experts on Japan and the Indo-Pacific from Europe and the United States, as well as a keynote address by H.E. Mitsuko Shino, Ambassador of Japan to Germany.
The event is organized by Indiana University’s 21st Century Japan Politics and Society Initiative and supported by IU Global, IU’s Europe Gateway in Berlin, Freie Universität Berlin, and the Japanese-German Center Berlin (JDZB).
