The Japanese-Language Proficiency Test (JLPT) (booked out)
The Japanese-Language Proficiency Test (JLPT) is a test for non-native speakers of Japanese which evaluates and certifies their Japanese-language proficiency.
On December 1, 2024, JLPT for all levels (N1-N5) will take place at the Japanese-German Center Berlin (JDZB) for the first time. You can find the test schedule on program below or here.
Online application will be open on July 9, 12:00 (noon)*.
*Please note that applications will not be accepted as soon as the participant limit has been reached.

Once you have decided which level to take, please make sure that you have read the following important information before starting to apply. The JLPT Test fee for all levels (N1-N5) is 65 Euros.
- Payment can be made by Stripe and Paypal (Credit cards or SOFORT).
- Test fee WILL NOT be refunded in case of withdrawal or non-attendance.
- Refusal of Entry
Examinees will be denied entry into the test sites if:
- They do not bring along photo ID.
- They are late for the test.
In such cases, examinees will not be entitled any refund of the test fees paid.
- Application period starts on July 9 and ends on August 22. As soon as the participant limit has been reached, applications will be closed.
- Test Guide PDF is mandatory reading to proceed the application correctly. Refer to the indicated page to select the appropriate number or answer.
