This year’s JEX Program takes place from November 14 to 21, 2026, and focuses on Quantum Technology. The program gives 14 young experts from Japan and Germany, coming from a range of research and professional backgrounds, the opportunity to visit the partner country and take part in study visits to research institutions, universities, and companies.

In the morning of November 21, all JEX participants will come together in an internal workshop to reflect on their experiences, exchange insights from the program, and discuss current developments and future perspectives in quantum technology.

From 13:00 onwards, the program will be open to registered guests. A joint lunch will provide an opportunity for JEX participants and other attendees to get to know one another before the concluding session begins at 14:00.

The afternoon session will bring together current JEX participants, alumni, and representatives from government, research, industry, and other relevant sectors to exchange ideas on Japanese-German cooperation in quantum technology and other future technologies.

After the official program, we warmly invite you to an informal get-together with food and drinks, offering space to network and continue the exchange in a relaxed atmosphere.
